Troubleshooting Google Integration Problems

Problems with Google login or using Google Docs in Headrush? Here's what to check.

If you're having problems with Google login or using Google Drive, check these things first:

  1. Make sure your Google account is properly connected:

    1. Click on your profile icon in the upper right.

    2. Scroll to Google Account Connection.

    3. If you see a "Connect your Google Account" button, click it and follow the prompts to connect your account.


      During the reconnection process, be sure that if prompted, all the checkboxes are marked checked so Headrush has permission to work with your Google account:

    4. If you see an error, try to disconnect and reconnect your account.

    5. Click the button to run the Integration test:

      If the test fails, follow the instructions in the test.
      ​

  2. Ensure that 3rd party cookies are not blocked. How to do this varies from browser to browser. View instructions for your browser.
    ​

  3. Ensure your Headrush site is whitelisted for ad blockers like Ad Block, AdBlock Plus, Disconnect, and others.

  4. If copies of the Google file template you've chosen are not being made or are not accessible on a module:

    1. Verify the owner of the file

    2. Review the respective file's share settings

    3. Verify you are logged in to Headrush using the same Google account as you've connected to Headrush in your Profile
