We speed things up with the new Task Assessment Grid and being able to Select + Change multiple learners in Task Status, List, and Grid.
We also added school-wide task assessment weight categories, so formative assessments can be mixed with summative to calculate an assessment in module targets.
Task Assessment Grid
You can now assess an entire task from one place.
Open any task, go to Evidence → Assessment, and the full roster is in front of you — every learner as a row, every target as a column, with the scale criteria one click away. No switching between learners.
Assess in bulk. Click a target’s column header, pick a level, and confirm. Every learner gets that assessment in one action — useful for exit tickets, participation checks, or any task where learners move as a group.
Finish one learner completely in two clicks. Hover a learner’s name to open a popup that covers all their targets at once. If the task uses more than one scale, assess each separately.
Adjust the exceptions. Click any individual cell to open the scale popup with the criteria written out. Assess from the rubric.
Work at keyboard speed. Arrow keys move through the grid, press enter or space to set a value. Undo is Ctrl+Z. Dozens of personalized assessments take minutes.
Select and Change Multiple Learners
Check the boxes to select learners in Task Evidence List, Status, and Assessment grid. Then, apply changes only to selected learners. Set status, assess only selected learners, send reminders to selected learners with a click.
Task Assessment Category Weights
Set school-wide task assessment categories, which apply weights to how task assessments roll up into the module assessment. Ask your Headrush implementation coach to enable this feature.
