Dynamic Groups

Create Dynamic Groups when you want to ensure that anyone who meets certain criteria ends up being a member of a group in Headrush.

ℹ️ Only admins can create dynamic groups. Learn about Headrush Groups.

To create a dynamic group, as an Admin go to Admin > Users & Groups > Add New Group.

In the group editor, you can select specific users to add to the group, and specify the criteria that cause any other user to become a member if they match.

Near Dynamic, choose to filter by Role, Tag, Grade or other user criteria. Specify the matching values. Headrush will display the users who will become a member of the group. In the example below, we create a group for "9th Grade" and set the Role to "Student" and the Grade to "9". This matches on 28 students:

Headrush will automatically ensure that any users who match the criteria will appear when viewing the group in My Students.
