As a CSA / manager, how do I update and register new (or missing) specialists?

When you registered to get your Headrush account, JAG National created a state group in Headrush that included all of your known specialists at that time. Of course, your team may change or perhaps someone was added to Headrush, but not to your state group.

We can help.

To VIEW who is currently in your state group

  1. Click on My Learners in the top navigation menu to go to your state staff group:

  2. In the upper left corner, select the group titled yy-Staff from the list of groups. (Instead of the ‘yy’ look for your state two letter abbreviation.)

Your specialists will be listed on the left. A summary card for each specialist will be displayed on the right.

To REMOVE someone who is currently in your state group:

  1. Click on My Learners in the top navigation menu to go to your state staff group:

  2. In the upper left corner, select the group titled yy-Staff from the list of groups. (Instead of the ‘yy’ look for your state two letter abbreviation.)

  3. Click on the gear to edit the group. A pop-up will appear:

  4. Click on any learner and a pop up will appear with all your specialists and group members listed:

  5. Click the ‘X’ next to the person’s name you’d like to remove.

👉 The person's account will not be deleted, they are simply removed from your group.

👉 The person will also disappear from your view.

To ADD someone who missing currently in your state group

Email Breanna Morsadi breanna.morsadi@jag.org a list of the specialists you’d like to add. Please include first name, last name, and email. A confirmation email will be sent to the requestor and new specialist (if applicable), once the new specialist accounts have been created. (Soon, CSAs and Managers will be able to add new specialists directly to Headrush. Thank you for your patience in the meantime!)

👉 DO NOT ADD specialists using the Invite New option in the Add Group window as this will create Students, not Specialists, and they will be unable to manage their own students.

If you don’t already have a staff group associated with you….

  1. Email Breanna Morsadi breanna.morsadi@jag.org a list of the specialists you’d like to add. Please include first name, last name, and email.

  2. A confirmation email will be sent to the requestor and new specialist (if applicable), once the new specialist accounts have been created.
