JAG University ensures consistent, high-quality training while giving Affiliates the flexibility to deliver learning in ways that best meet their local needs. Trainings and modules within JAG University can be:
Completed synchronously (virtually or in person)
Assigned and completed asynchronously
Connected to Affiliate-built modules for centralized tracking
What You’ll Find in JAG University
JAG University is organized into categories based on role and training focus, making it easy for users to locate relevant content.
CSA Category (Affiliate Leaders)
This category is designed specifically for CSA and Affiliate Leaders.
It includes:
Leadership-focused trainings
Resources to support Affiliate oversight and program management
Tools and guidance to support statewide implementation of the JAG Model
Manager Category
The Manager category supports those leading Specialists and programs at the local or regional level.
It includes:
Manager onboarding modules
Resources and guidance to help Managers be successful in their roles
Training aligned to leadership, supervision, and program execution
Specialist Category
The Specialist category is designed for Specialists working directly with students in the classroom.
It includes:
Specialist onboarding modules
Role-specific trainings
Resources and tools Specialists need to successfully implement the JAG Model and support students
JAG Advantage Category
The JAG Advantage category houses training that breaks down each component of the JAG Advantage framework.
It includes:
9 total training modules
Content organized into three progressive levels
Clear guidance to support consistent implementation of the JAG Advantage across Affiliates
ALL Things JAGForce Category
The ALL Things JAGForce category supports effective use of JAG’s data management system, JAGForce.
It includes:
Short, step-by-step video instructions for using JAGForce
Helpful resources and user guides
Recordings from past JAGForce webinars
These modules are available for both Specialists and Managers.
Town Halls Category
The Town Halls category houses recordings from JAG National’s monthly virtual Town Hall calls.
Key details:
Open to the entire JAG network
Held on the first Thursday of each month
Recordings are available for staff who are unable to attend live
Flexible Training Delivery
One of the strengths of JAG University is its flexibility. Modules and trainings can be:
Delivered live (virtually or in person)
Assigned for self-paced, asynchronous completion
Integrated into Affiliate onboarding and professional development modules
This flexibility allows Affiliates to meet staff where they are while maintaining alignment with JAG National training expectations.
