Adding Students to Headrush

As of July 8, 2025, student accounts will be automatically created in Headrush for all Specialists as part of the newly launched Headrush to JAGForce integration for those affiliations that have opted in.

Affiliations that have opted into the JAGForce πŸ” Headrush Student Account Syncing currently are:

  • Nebraska

  • Kansas

  • South Dakota

Affiliations can opt in and turn on the integration by contacting Jan Ennis at JAG National.

ℹ️ Adding students through JAGForce is now the only way students can be added to Headrush / JAGHub. Specialists will no longer be able to create student accounts manually one-by-one or via a spreadsheet (as done previously).

How do my students login to Headrush?

Once a Specialist's student rosters from JAGForce have been synced to Headrush, the Specialist will get an email notification that the import is complete and the roster group is ready.

The Specialist can view and confirm their students have been added by visiting their 'My Learners' page.

You can view different groups using the menu on the side:

Students will NOT be automatically notified that their Headrush account is available. This allows the specialist to invite them into the system when they are ready to do so. To help students activate their accounts, click the button "INVITE X STUDENTS" at the top of the My Learners page. Headrush will provide options for inviting learners:

  1. Manually invite by link: Copy the provided link to share with students through other channels available to you. Students will verify their login information to connect.

  2. Invite by email: Headrush will send an email reminder with link to students. NOTE: this requires functioning emails to be added to JAGForce AND those emails be allowed to received messages from Headrush. Check with your local email administrator to confirm this is true.

  3. Manually set passwords: Use this to set passwords for students to something you know and that you can share with them in your own way.

FAQ

What will happen to students who were already in the system?

  • Any student Headrush accounts that were created will be there and should still be connected to their respective Specialist(s).

What if I'm missing a student from my group in Headrush?

  • Make sure your student has been added to the appropriate roster in JAGForce

  • If you added them recently, syncing happens between JAGForce and Headrush every two hours so wait to see if that student appears.

  • If the student still does not appear, please reach out to Headrush support. Depending on the issue, Headrush support may direct you to JAGForce support.

Can I create my own groupings of students?

  • Yes. While you won't be able to edit the JAGForce-created groups directly. You can still create additional grouping of your existing students. Click the [+] button next to the name of your group to add a new group.

  • You can only select students who are associated with you as a specialist. All student records come from JAGForce.

How do I remove a student from my group?

  • Student accounts will generally not be deleted or deactivated but they may be removed from groups so you no longer have access to them.

  • To remove a student from your Headrush groups, remove that student from the roster in JAGForce and Headrush will sync automatically within the following two hours.

What if I'm seeing a student that I don't recognize or should belong to another specialist?

  • Please contact Headrush support and we'll be happy to look into why
