As an advisor, it can sometimes be necessary to change the password for a learner or a group of learners-- such as when a technical issue causes password re-set emails to be undeliverable.
βοΈ A Headrush Admin must first enable this feature in Admin > Global Settings > User Settings.
π When an advisor changes a learner's password, the learner will be required to create a new password when they next login to Headrush.
Change an individual learner's password
Hover over a learner's name and profile image anywhere it appears in Headrush -- such as on My Students, inside a module's Evidence view, or while reviewing assessments -- and the learner's pop-up card will appear. Then, open the context menu, and click Change Password. Enter a new password and click Save.
Change passwords for members of a group
When wanting to change many students passwords at one time to the same password, then share that password with those learners, follow these steps:
Go to 'My Students', and choose the group with passwords to change.
Click the cog ( βοΈ ) to edit the group.
Click the 'Change Passwords' button.
Click the 'X' to remove any group learners from the list who do not need to have their password changed. (Type into the box to search for learners in the group to add them to the list again.)
Enter the new password and click 'Save'.
Confirm the list of learners to change and click 'Proceed'.
